Steve is definitely a unique artist and one of the best lead guitarists “anywhere in the USA”. He’s gifted with an amazing musical ear, however all this time he’s been playing with his fingers… LOL.

Steve Faris is to Velvet Soul, what Steve Lukather is to Toto… a great asset and musician!

Steve has been playing since he was 14 and has performed in various cover bands off and on ever since. Unlike some musicians who feel they’ve reached the top of their talent growth chart, Steve is a work horse on his guitar.

What inspires Steve… is seeing another gifted musician do “the incredible” on the guitar, which makes Steve want to try harder.

Steve enjoys motorcycling and golfing; traveling is on his bucket list.

His favorite genres include rock and jazz and his favorite guitarist is Steve Lukather.

Steve’s favorite bands are Toto, Chicago, and the Eagles.
